Airswift is looking for a Planning and Scheduling Engineer to support a major client in Spring, TX on a 12-month contract

Responsibilities:
  • Track, coordinate, and drive readiness for all pre-spud activities for unconventional developments
  • Oversee the full well lifecycle progression from ideation to spud readiness:
    • Opportunity generation
    • Land agreements
    • Subsurface roadmap
    • Permitting
    • Execution schedule coordination
  • Steward progress and identify schedule or planning risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues or adjust priorities to ensure timely readiness.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor the overall project schedule and progress measurement system.
  • Review contractor schedules for logic, consistency with WBS and project plans, and usefulness.
  • Support project team with schedule analysis, reporting, and forecasting.
  • Analyze schedule trends and forecast potential impacts.
  • Prepare and compile weekly and monthly schedule/progress reports.
  • Participate in:
    • Developing control schedules and milestones
    • Contract bid evaluations
    • Gathering and documenting lessons learned
  • Respond to ad hoc requests from the Project Management Team (PMT) on controls/reporting.


Requirements:

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management.
  • Project controls experience with a focus on planning and schedule control.
  • Relevant technical discipline certifications (based on experience).
