Head of Commissioning
Location: Doha & project sites (onshore fabrication yards & offshore platforms)
Be at the forefront of commissioning one of the world's largest LNG sustainability ventures. As Head of Commissioning, you'll lead a high caliber team of 7-12 discipline leads and supervisors, driving the safe and efficient start up of:

• Greenfield scope: 5 new jackets, 6 new topsides decks, pipelines, spur lines, composite and fibre optic cables, new risers & J-tubes.
• Brownfield scope: 45 minor & major modifications across 34 existing platforms, plus decommissioning of pipelines & top-side equipment.

What You'll Do

• Strategic Leadership: Define and own the overall mechanical, electrical, instrumentation & telecom commissioning strategy.
• Team Management: Mentor and mobilize commissioning discipline leads and supervisors, ensuring clear priorities, safety focus, and on budget execution.
• Schedule & Budget Oversight: Steer system completion deliverables, gate reviews, and shutdown window planning and recovery plans for any schedule variances.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate with Systems Completion, Project Management, HSEQ, Operations & Maintenance, and EPC/vendor partners to align interfaces and smooth handovers.
• Continuous Improvement: Integrate lessons learned into processes; champion quality assurance, contract compliance, and sustained Qatarization development.

Minimum Experience & Qualifications required:

• Experienced: 10+ years in large scale Oil & Gas commissioning projects, including 2+ years leading multidiscipline teams.
• Technically Savvy: Deep knowledge of commissioning, pre-commissioning, systems completion, P&IDs, GA drawings, codes & standards, and SIMOPS.
• Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Applied Sciences.
• Leader & Communicator: Proven ability to set clear objectives, solve complex problems, and drive crossfunctional collaboration onshore and offshore.
