This position reports to
SCM Specialist
Your role and responsibilities
You will be mainly accountable for: • Identifying new suppliers in cooperation with relevant category team. Qualifies new suppliers in cooperation with Supplier Quality and Engineering specialists. • Designing and implements plans for local sourcing to reach the business targets. • Supporting regional and global sourcing initiatives as required. When working for GBS centers, support specific assigned tasks related to sourcing, like e-sourcing activities. • Negotiating agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews pricelists, terms and conditions. • Applying and implements PL standards, tools and processes in the area of responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost and Sustainability. • Creating and updates reports, as required, following the ABB standards. • Adapting corporate contractual framework to the local business needs. • Recommending frame agreements to management and executes upon approval. • Conducting all Procurement & Logistics activities for all goods and services in accordance with policies and procedures. Ensures Pro-Supply global supplier relationship management platform is kept updated as defined in ABB Tools procedure. • Following all ABB Ethics and OHS instructions. Executes effective and transparent communication internally & externally and between different units and centers.

Qualifications for the role
- Procurement & SC experience is a must.
- A bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Fluent spoken & written English & Arabic language.
- Knowledge of industrial sector preferable to be electrical. -
- Power Aligned with Flexible communication/relationship with Suppliers through Professional Tools.
- Must be able to multi-task and manage multiple tasks-Efficient time management.
- Communication skills are essential & Experienced use of different Microsoft programs. - SAP experience is preferable. - People management skills. - Strong analytical & conceptual skills.
