For our Systems and Software business in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, we are seeking a Local Procurement Lead to coordinate and complete procurement activities for sophisticated, project-based engagements. You will handle Third-party goods and services , ensuring compliance with local requirements and global good practices. This position will play a key role in driving value, efficiency, and innovation throughout the entire procurement lifecycle!
This role will be based in Emerson's Dhahran Techno Valley office in Saudi Arabia.

For this Role, You Will Need:
Confirmed Project Procurement Experience in KSA; Experience in Aramco projects.
Bachelor's degree graduate or equivalent experience in Business, Commerce or Engineering.
Background in the Aramco standards and terminologies, LSTK contracting workflows, processes and approval cycles and requirements.
Senior Procurement experience across the Procure to Pay cycle (P2P) and within the required years highlighted.
Contract lifecycle management experience
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Master's in business or commerce, or a management degree or equivalent experience.
Membership and participation in various Supply Chain Management Professional Organization (ISM, CIPS or its equivalent) is highly desired

This position will play a key role in driving value, efficiency, and innovation throughout the entire procurement lifecycle!
This role will be based in Emerson's Dhahran Techno Valley office in Saudi Arabia.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
1.Single Point-of-Contact (SPOC)
- Act as the main liaison for procurement-related issues, collaborating with local sales/pursuit teams, Project Managers, and external suppliers or contractors.
- Proactively engage with collaborators to identify project needs and develop sourcing and project procurement plans.
2.Strategic Procurement & RFQ Management
- Lead and participate in the entire RFQ process: from bid preparation and evaluation to contract award.
- Conduct commercial term negotiations, ensuring alignment with Aramco standards (Aramco projects) and local compliance requirements.
- Evaluate supplier proposals for pricing, technical viability, and risk; give insights for supplier selection.
3.Supplier Relationship Management
- Maintain positive relationships with local suppliers and contractors; coordinate Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQ) and pre-qualification steps.
- Resolve any critical issues, observe performance, and regularly update supplier scorecards.
4.Collaboration with Global Teams
- Work closely with the Center of Perfection & Strategic Sourcing teams, and Regional Project Procurement functions to align with global standard processes.
- Share market intelligence and local project requirements to drive efficient, standardized processes.
- Coordinate tactical/transactional procurement activities driven by the COE.
5.Contract & Risk Oversight
- Identify appropriate commercial obligations and templates to meet contractual requirements.
- Perform risk analysis and implement corrective actions to ensure on-time delivery and cost optimization.
- Ensure all technical specifications and local regulations are met throughout execution.
6.Project Execution & Reporting
- handle expediting, logistics, material receiving/tracking, and final order closeout processes.
- Provide regular status updates to local leadership and the Project Procurement Manager, MEA, highlighting any issues or risks.
7.Market Analysis & Continuous Improvement
- Stay current on local market dynamics (including Aramco processes) to advise cost modeling and strategic sourcing decisions.
- Offer recommendations on supplier development and process improvements to improve overall project outcomes.
8.Regulatory, Trade & Policy Compliance
- Ensure full adherence to Emerson's Ethics Policy, Record Retention Policy, and all relevant KSA regulations.
- Control compliance with Aramco LSTK (Lump Sum Turnkey) contracting workflows, approval cycles, and local standards.
