The role of the Production Leader at the SEL On Wing Support (OWS) location is to provide production and shop leadership to activities associated with the On Wing Support business unit in Gimpo, Korea. Additionally, the Production Leader will own and facilitate lean strategies and continuous improvements for the site.

On Wing Support Korea was launched in 2000 at Gimpo Airport. Recognizing the growing need for support, we expanded the center in 2013. It was relocated to the Gimpo Aerospace Industrial Complex with enhanced quick-turn service capabilities for GEnx and LEAP engines. One of seven global centers, it serves as a crucial hub for quick-turn and real-time services in Asia Pacific to keep our customers flying.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college and 3+ years of manufacturing leadership experience (or a minimum high school diploma / GED with an additional 4+ years of manufacturing leadership experience).

Role Overview:
- Responsible for the safety and welfare of all direct reports.
- Responsible for continued compliance to Regulatory agency requirements.
- Management of training plans and authorizations of all technicians.
- Performance management of the technician - Coaching, executing Performance Improvement Plans and Disciplinary procedures as required.
- Resolving production problems, recommending operational changes, assessment of risks and surge manpower management to meet demands.
- Management of labor utilization of technician - to include demand forecasting and trend analysis.
- Maintaining and further developing a good working relationship with Customers, Customer Team, and other local stakeholders.
- Manage the flow of products through the shop, working with the Planner, Engineer and Materials & Logistics Team to optimize inventory in support of TAT and cost control.
- Assist in work cell and product flow design and implementation.
- Driving a FLIGHT DECK culture of continuous improvement.
- Apply FLIGHT DECK tools to improve process capability and eliminate defects
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college and 3+ years of manufacturing leadership experience (or a minimum high school diploma / GED with an additional 4+ years of manufacturing leadership experience).
- Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic License (Issued by MOLIT - Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transportation)
- Minimum 3 years of experience for engine maintenance (Not Airframe)

- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Established project management skills.
