Honeywell's ACST team is seeking an Information Protection and Classification Specialist for our Broomfield, CO, Plymouth, MN or Herdon, VA locations.

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:
o Coordinates with scientific, technical, and other subject-matter experts to assess the classification level appropriate to information sensitivity per derivative classification authority.
o Implements policies, procedures, standards, training, performance support tools, and methods for identifying, marking, and protecting program classified/sensitive information from unauthorized disclosure in accordance with DoD, customer, and other relevant security classification guidance.
o Provides input to the design of information protection policy structure.
o Supports development of policies, procedures, guidelines under the information protection policy structure as pertains to classification management and user behavior in implementing information protection requirements.
The annual base salary for this position is $79,400.00 - $99,200.00. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Supports implementation of a standardized and efficient information protection and classification management program for Unclassified, Sensitive Unclassified, Classified Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information, and Special Access Program information.
o Coordinates with scientific, technical, and other subject-matter experts to assess the classification level appropriate to information sensitivity per derivative classification authority.
o Implements policies, procedures, standards, training, performance support tools, and methods for identifying, marking, and protecting program classified/sensitive information from unauthorized disclosure in accordance with DoD, customer, and other relevant security classification guidance.
- Interprets or supports development of policy and conducts oversight reviews on the effectiveness of information protection and classification management programs and policies for assigned projects/programs.
- Reviews classification guidance generated for new or ongoing programs to ensure that specific and correct guidance is available to ACST personnel.
- Coordinates with offices, both internal and external, to protect program equities.
- Supports development and implementation of information protection and classification management policies, procedures, and guidelines as pertains to classification management and user behavior in accordance with the NISPOM; EO 13526 (Classified National Security Information); EO 13556 (Controlled Unclassified Information); other relevant Federal-level requirements; and customer direction.
- In collaboration with the IT team, Compliance team, and, when applicable, the Program:
o Provides input to the design of information protection policy structure.
o Supports development of policies, procedures, guidelines under the information protection policy structure as pertains to classification management and user behavior in implementing information protection requirements.
- In collaboration with the IT team and, when applicable, the Program, supports design and development of job aids/work aids, training, and other human performance interventions to support implementation of information protection and classification policies at ACST.
- Supports design and development of job aids/work aids, training, and other human performance interventions to support employees in "doing the right thing" to create a culture of security across ACST pertaining to all security disciplines and requirements (e.g. physical security, personnel security, operations security, information protection, etc.) to ensure alignment and minimize redundancy for employees.

- 3 - 5 years' relationship management experience

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a business, education and training, or technical discipline
- Master's degree in business or education and training
- Education or experience in training, instructional design, or change management, or workplace performance improvement
- PMP Certification
- Supply chain or contract management experience
- Risk Management - Identification & Mitigation
- Aptitude for coaching peers and team members
- Cross Functional Collaboration, Communication & Influence experience
