Join our dynamic team as a Painting Insulation Engineer and play a pivotal role in the Oil and Gas industry! This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Marsa SOHAR LNG Bunkering Project, where your expertise in painting and insulation will be crucial for the success of our operations in Nanterre, France.

Role Overview

• Develop Painting Specifications and Insulation Specifications.
• Review Vendor Documents: Painting Procedure, FQCP, ITP.
• Perform Material Take Off Activities of painting and insulation systems applicable to piping.
• Clarify with Process discipline design and operating conditions to confirm selection of applicable painting & insulation systems.
• Manage interfaces with Engineering Disciplines and QCS to address Vendor Queries & Deviation requests.
• Participate in meetings with Clients and Partners.
• Produce quality deliverables.
• Report on activities performed on a weekly basis to the Materials & Welding Lead on the assigned Project.

Skills & Qualifications

• Fluent in English.
• Expertise in Painting Coating & Insulation.
• Knowledge of Insulation Materials.
• Good knowledge of applicable codes & standards related to Painting and Insulation.
• Self-managing, dynamic, and responsive.
• Strong teamwork and inter-personal skills.

Education & Experience

• MSc Degree in Materials Engineering or Chemistry.
• 5 - 10 years experience in engineering or site activities in Painting & Insulation field.
