Regional Reporting Accountant

Responsibilities

• Oversee submission of financial data from country/ division finance team every month and validate accuracy
• Support country/division finance to resolve intercompany mismatches and reconciliation issues
• Prepare monthly/quarterly / annual Asia financial reporting statements
• Prepare the Monthly Business Reporting pack, support Finance Director in analysing variances vs budget/forecast and prior year and explain key drivers; identifying trends and opportunities for performance improvement across the region
• Develop financial models, reporting templates and initiatives that improve data analysis and enhance financial growth
• Support Finance Director in budget, forecast and strategy development process
• Maintain knowledge and keep abreast of new corporate policies and changes in finance system that may affect the financial performance.
• Ensure regional compliance with corporate accounting policies and local statutory requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related subjects with CPA qualification
• With a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience from a sizeable multinational company
• Strong Business acumen and analytical mindset
• Good communication skills and attention to details
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Highly organized with the ability to follow through to completion on tasks assigned
