What are you going to do

Position: Offshore Structural Engineer.

Contract: On Permanent Role.

Location: Chennai.

• Experienced offshore Structural Engineers Candidates conversant with SACS software for analysis / design of offshore structures. Hands on experience in performing In place / Inservice and Preservice analysis of Fixed platform Jacket & topsides / FPSO / Floater Topside Modules. Also Experience in Spectral Fatigue / Seismic, On bottom stability, Pile handling, Floatation & Upending for Jackets / platforms will be an added advantage;
• Experience in using SESAM / STAAD Pro / SAP2000 & FEM software’s - ANSYS / ABACUS would be an advantage. Responsible to provide inputs to structural modelers / drafting team, check 3D Model & Drawings for Engg aspects using NAVIS works / equivalent 3D Model viewers, prepare MTO / BOQ / BOM, Inputs for Weight Control report, verify other Disc data for Weight Control report. Familiar with Structural Material Grades / fabrication aspects / detailing aspects.

Essential skills and knowledge

• Graduate in Civil Engg / Structural Engg desired, Post Graduate in Structural Engg / Offshore Structure is preferable;
• Experience: 15 + years;
• Minimum 2 / 3 EPC or Detailed engineering projects worked as a Lead / Area Lead;
• 15 years with min 5 years in Oil & Gas Industry. Exposure to Field Engineering , Basic/FEED engineering.
