- Monitor and track daily contractor activity, including labour, equipment, materials, and remediation work progress.
- Review and sign off on day work sheets and validate contractor payment claims for accuracy.
- Assist with developing and maintaining project cost forecasts and managing budget updates.
- Support preparation of execution strategies, scopes of work, and bills of quantities.
- Ensure contractor compliance with Quality, HSE, and Level 2 Risk Assessments (L2RA).
- Perform LIF activities, including reviews, verifications, and safety compliance checks.
- Collaborate with the project engineer to review thickness tests and approve remediation plans.
- Document design or scope changes and ensure timely updates to cost tracking.
- Attend regular contractor progress and shutdown meetings, including site inspections.
- Raise purchase requisitions and manage ongoing training and administrative tasks.
Essential skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, engineering, management, or similar
- Construction estimating or finance experience is highly desirable
- Knowledge and ability to understanding requirements of the following disciplines - Mechanical, Structural, Electrical, Civil, Scaffolding
- MS Excel & Project knowledge
- FIFO role so should be able to work an 8:6 roster
- You must have current right to work in Australia to be considered for this role
