Essential skills and knowledge
- Provide specialist support service on subsea inspection and maintenance engineering to the company's Operations Support Department.
- Conduct subsea inspection techniques, corrosion assessment, pipeline engineering, and pipeline structure repairs.
- Set up structural integrity management systems and carry out structural analysis based on inspection data to determine the remaining life of offshore structures.
- Establish subsea pipelines and structures inspection frequencies/intervals based on condition assessment and risk-based inspection techniques.
- Review, evaluate, and analyze subsea inspection findings and recommend corrective actions.
- Carry out pre-qualifications of subsea inspection and maintenance contractors, including intelligent pigging specialists.
- Liaise with site and company representatives onboard inspection/maintenance vessels to ensure the implementation of inspection and maintenance procedures.
- Provide technical assistance and prepare technical specifications and procedures for subsea inspection and maintenance works.
- Use intelligent pigging techniques to inspect the internal condition of subsea pipelines.
- Supervise contracted inspection and maintenance teams onboard offshore vessels.
Essential skills and knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Marine, Subsea) or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in subsea inspection and maintenance engineering.
- Strong knowledge of subsea inspection techniques, corrosion assessment, and pipeline engineering.
- Proficiency in using intelligent pigging techniques and other subsea inspection tools.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to comprehend, coordinate, and manage multiple projects.
- Attention to detail and a strong grasp of analytical concepts.
