SUMMARY
Supports the station Maintenance department and all its divisions in the area of Corrective Actions (CAP), Human Performance (HU), and various other Maintenance Programs to provide continuous process improvement in the areas relating to plant operations, safety, department goals, and performance indicators.

SUMMARY

EDUCATION
- Bachelor degree in Business, Management, Computer Science, Math, or Engineering (Preferred)
- Without a degree, 5 years in one or combination of Nuclear Ops, Maintenance, Engineering, Construction/startup, or Military Ops or Maintenance may be considered.
EXPERIENCE
- Spec Generation Supt Assoc - No experience is required.
- Spec Generation Supt - 2 Years Condition Report investigations, or assessment, oversight and/or data/trend analysis activities. (Required)
- Spec Generation Supt Sr - 5 Years Condition Report investigations, assessment, oversight and/or data/trend analysis activities. (Required)
- Spec Generation Supt Staff - 8 Years Condition Report investigations, assessment, oversight and/or data/trend analysis activities. (Required)
LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS
- There is no Certification or Licensure Listed
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists in developing self-assessment plans to address areas for improvement relating to plant operations, safety, department goals, and performance indicators.
- Assists in Significant Condition Adverse to Quality (SCAQ) and below investigations.
- Assists in development of corrective actions to address adverse trends detected based on performance indicator results.
- Participates in continuous improvement planning and implementation in areas of responsibility.
- Reviews and screens Condition Reports and participates in Screening Committee meetings (CRSC).
- Utilizes Industry Reporting Information System (IRIS) and trends data.
- Supports FME and Rework Programs as needed.
- Conducts Measuring and Test Equipment (M&TE) Evaluations.
- Utilizes condition report searches and Oracle analytics to provide data for Maintenance Excellence, Human Performance, and Department and Station Event Code Trend evaluations.
SPECIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to track work activities planned, in progress and completed as assigned.
- Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written) and to write complete, concise, and clear reports.
- Knowledge of plant design, operations, and generation procedures.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accept ERO position as needed.
- Accept outage position as needed.
- Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted access.
- Successfully complete General Employee Training (GET) as required for position.
Environmental & Physical Requirements
- Environmental and physical requirements are subject to crouching, stooping, bending, twisting and/or lifting up to 30 lbs; ascending/descending stairs; sitting for extended periods of time; and spending considerable time in front of computer monitors.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Overtime and alternate work schedules as needed.
- Subject to callouts twenty-four hours per day seven days per week.
- Travel may be required.
- May be required to carry a phone.
Work Location
- Due to the nature of the work, this position requires work to be performed in the field and/or at the work site.
