Job title: Project Manager

Location: Doha, travel to China and offshore

The Project: COMP2
Saipem’s scope of work includes the engineering, procurement, fabrication, and installation of six offshore platforms, approximately 100 km of corrosion-resistant alloy rigid subsea pipelines (28’’ and 24’’ in diameter), 100 km of subsea composite cables, 150 km of fiber optic cables, and various other subsea facilities.

The Role:
We are seeking a driven and experienced professional to oversee the execution of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation (EPCI) activities for the COMP2 Project. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the overall governance of the project in terms of organizational, financial, technical, and contractual aspects to ensure the achievement of project objectives.
  
• Planning, coordinating, and supervising the execution of project components including jackets, topsides, and topside connecting bridges.
  
• Leading and supporting a multidisciplinary team throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
  

This is a dynamic and hands-on role that requires international travel, including regular visits to fabrication yards in China and offshore presence during installation phases.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in offshore construction, particularly in EPCI projects.
  
• Previous involvement with Qatar Gas is highly desirable.
  
• Strong understanding of hook-up operations and LNG processes.
  
• Expertise in post-order management and fabrication oversight.
  
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  
• Confident and effective communication skills, especially when interfacing with clients.
