JOB DESCRIPTION

To schedule and coordinate the shipment of all underground tanks, tank parts and accessories from the facility Direct the efforts of the loaders to ensure the finished product is properly loaded on trucks to be transported to customers in a timely and efficient manner.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establishes shipping dates for all customer orders.

• Verifies customer is ready for delivery by communicating with the customer prior to shipment.

• Promotes effective communication with internal and external organizations and customers through appropriate form of communications: meetings, emails, conference, etc.

• Nurtures a culture that's team oriented, employees are valued, trusted and accountable. Employees are working towards the same goal with focus on collective results.

• Interacts with customers, outside sales, inside sales, sales management, engineering, quality, and manufacturing personnel to accomplish duties.

• Maintains and communicates the shipping schedule and adjusts for customer needs.

• Manages outbound shipments, including preparation of shipping documents in ERP.

• Coordinates with carriers to schedule trucks for an on-time delivery.

• Communicates with employees engaged in verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments and preparing items for shipment.

• Processes completed shipments in the ERP system.

• Ensure area processes are compliant with the Quality Management System; work in accordance with QA team to improve processes throughout departments as required or viewed necessary. Ensure team is participating and submitting non-conformances to QA in a timely manner. Work towards continuous improvement.

• Responsible to follow all applicable company and corporate policies, guiding principles, procedures, and programs; including but not limited to the process map, support processes, health, safety and environmental requirements.

• Complies with all HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures.

• Complies with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures.

• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent (Required)

• Three years relevant work experience (Required)

• Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)

• APICS CPIM Certification (Preferred)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to type, handle, or feel objects, tools, or control; talk or hear.

• Shift or overtime work may be required.

• Standing and walking 6 to 8 hours daily

• Bending/Stooping 6 to 8 hours daily

• Lifting (weights up to 50 lbs.) occasionally

• Travel less than 10%

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

• Microsoft office

• Ability to use ERP system

• Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties as required

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
