NOV TVCL is seeking an experienced Quality Advisor to join our team in Angola on a temporary basis. In this role you will provide QHSE advice, guidance and support to local management and assist in maintaining and developing the QHSE management systems deployed within NOV.

NOV TVCL is seeking an experienced Quality Advisor to join our team in Angola on a temporary basis. In this role you will provide QHSE advice, guidance and support to local management and assist in maintaining and developing the QHSE management systems deployed within NOV.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Recording and investigating any facility incidents / accidents within the company's reporting system
- Record all observation cards in the company reporting system
- Coordinate and conduct formal workplace inspections in accordance with NOV requirements
- Provide support and guidance for the scheduling and conducting of facility risk assessments and job safety analysis
- Maintain listing of hazardous substances used at the facility and maintain up to date Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
- Assist in QHSE elements of operational tenders and contracts
- Assist in Emergency Response procedures, eg Fire Safety, First Aid, Spills,
- Conduct internal QHSE audits
- Coordinate and implement the NOV QHSE Program - policy, manual and procedures
- Develop and implement local QHSE management system procedures to support corporate QHSE policies
- Coordinating and participating in scheduled QHSE Meetings
- Collating and submitting monthly HSE Balanced scorecard data
- Communicate updates on QHSE documentation, eg policies, service bulletins, document updates to applicable personnel
- Preparing and coordinating QHSE information and data to present at formal QHSE Management Reviews.
- Working with facility management to establish and review formal QHSE targets and objectives
- Coordinate and participate in HSE Committee Meetings
- Monitor and report on progress on Corrective / Preventive Action Requests and Observations within the HSE system to HSE Committee and Operations Manager
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
- Educational qualification with a higher educational degree.
- NEBOSH qualifications (Essential)
- 3 to 5 years of experience in similar functions (Essential)
- Experience within the Oil & Gas industry (Essential)
- Experience of ISO Management Systems / Standards and QA / QC documentation
- IOSH Managing Safely or similar
- Certification in HSE Management
- Knowledge of Coatings, Fabrication, Machining and Welding processes.
- Fluent Portuguese & fluent English
