We are seeking for a senior level Software Engineer to join the Test & Measurement Finance IT organization at our Debrecen office in Hungary. The Software Engineer's primary role is to serve as part of a highly skilled distributed team, providing technical and business solutions to extend and enhance our corporate business applications.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Take part in planning, designing, development, testing, implementation, solving and operations of our corporate business applications, including participation in all systems life cycle and project management activities.
• Day to day operational support, functional/critical initiatives
• Analyze, identify, research, and recommend technology and lead business solutions to meet business requirements and IT system standards.
• Provide effective written and oral communications within and outside the IT Department
• Mentor junior team members
• Work collaboratively with global development teams located in the US, Europe and APAC.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues

For this Role, You will Need:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience in the field of IT
• 3.0 minimum cumulative (overall) GPA
• Minimum 6+ years of application or software development experience
• Strong interest in working with technology and programming.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a geographically distributed team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Proficiency in multiple technologies
• Must have understanding of and exposure to RDBMS database systems
• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle PLSQL development, Integration platforms, or other ERP system exposure is considered a plus
