In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• As a Software Engineer, you will solve complex problems that have a profound impact on how we reach our customers when they do business with NI.
• This is an area of constant transformation, driven by the need to adjust our internal processes to better serve our customers, and the continuous improvement cycle required to keep our technologies efficient and up to date.
• You will work with a collaborative team in IT, focusing on the Ordering product and partnering with internal users and the business.
• To thrive in this role, you must embrace an engineering attitude, possess confident technology knowledge, be well-versed in object-oriented programming, and have knowledge of software development lifecycle management.

For this Role, you will Need:

• Ability to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications.
• Knowledge of software development principles and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.)
• Knowledge of DevOps principles to ensure that software is developed, tested, and deployed efficiently and effectively, including additional skills related to automation, infrastructure management, and deployment processes.
• Strong communication skills in English
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to learn and improve your skills with the help of your mentor and teammates.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree with 1-3 years of related experience
• Ability to continuously learn and keep up with emerging technologies and trends in software engineering.
• Understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Knowledge of database management systems and SQL.
• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle PLSQL development.
• Experience with Salesforce out of the box development, declarative development, custom/apex development in Saleforce.com.
• Familiarity with software security principles and standard methodologies
