Global Sourcing Category Manager

Your role and responsibilities

Start: May 2025 | Duration: 3 months | Full-time| Temporary As a working student, you will support our team in the area of EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) & Embedded Solutions across various procurement-related tasks. You can expect exciting insights into the processes of an internationally operating company. • Assisting with sourcing activities such as request for quotations, supplier comparisons, and disposition planning • Analyzing and evaluating supplier data to help optimize procurement processes • Supporting the creation of decisionmaking tools for management (e.g. via MS Excel analyses and charts)

Qualifications for the role

• Basic understanding of procurement and sourcing processes
• Ideally enrolled in a degree program such as Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Electrical Engineering
• Strong skills in MS Excel (e.g. pivot tables, VLOOKUP, charts)
• Team player with strong communication skills, able to collaborate with internal departments and international suppliers
• Independent, structured, and reliable working style
