As a Patent Agent here at Advanced Materials, you will play a crucialrole in protecting and managing our intellectual property assets. Youwill partner with IP professionals and the R&D organization to develop andimplement IP strategies to safeguard Honeywell's innovations. Your expertise inpatent and trademark laws will be essential in managing the IP portfolio andproviding guidance to business units on IP matters.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct comprehensive patent and trademark clearance searchesand analyze prior art
• Partner with internal and external patent attorneys to draftand file high-quality patent applications
• Manage the patent and trademark applications through the prosecutionprocess
• Collaborate with inventors and technical teams tounderstand inventions and draft patent specifications
• Manage and maintain the patent and trademark portfolios
• Provide guidance and support on patent andtrademark -related matters

In October 2024 Honeywell announced the spin-off of its Advanced Materials business to become a stand-alone publicly traded company, independent of Honeywell. Until that is finalized, you will be an employee of Honeywell. It is the intention that this role will convey to the new, independent company, to be named Solstice Advanced Materials when the separation occurs. We expect this to occur in later 2025 or early 2026

YOU MUST HAVE

• Registered as a Patent Agent with the relevant office(s)
• 4+ years of experience with patent and trademark laws andregulations
• Experience in conducting patent and trademark searches andanalyzing prior art
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
