We have an opportunity for a Strategic Sourcing Spec II - Distributors to join us at Honeywell, in Bucharest. This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.
This position is intended to convey to the new, independent company, to be named Solstice Advanced Materials when the separation occurs. This is expected to occur in late 2025 or early 2026.

Key responsibilities
- Identifying suppliers and soliciting quotations.
- Planning and placing purchase orders per Order Policy and SAP-generated requirements.
- Resolve PO placement delays and maintain accurate SAP records to
- Ensure timely invoice resolutions for prompt payments.
- Negotiate optimal delivery dates for short lead-time orders.
- Optimize inventory metrics and coordinate logistics arrangements.
- Prepare Purchase Order Documentation Summaries (PODS) packages and integrate off-contract parts into the Purchase Order Pricing Agreement (POPA).
- Collaborate with Sourcing to enhance contract penetration using the POPA process.
Key skills and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or business administration
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain management or procurement
- Experience with SAP or site relevant ERP systems, E Sourcing Platforms, Request for Quotation Tools, Project Management Tools
- Outstanding knowledge and skills in Microsoft Excel (MS Office)
- English fluent speaking and writing / German - business communication
- Experience with Six Sigma and Lean Tools
