As a Supplier Quality Engineer here at Honeywell Energy & Sustainability Solutions (ESS) / Advanced Industrial Solutions (AIS) you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our suppliers' products and processes. You will play a critical role in driving continuous improvement and ensuring that our suppliers meet Honeywell's quality standards and strategy.
You will work out of our Spokane, WA location on an onsite work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the future of Honeywell by providing technical expertise and guidance to the Supplier Quality Engineering team, leading supplier development initiatives, and driving the implementation of quality improvement projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the procurement and sourcing team
- Lead supplier development initiatives to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with Honeywell's quality standards
- Conduct supplier audits to assess supplier capabilities and identify areas for improvement
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to address quality issues and prevent recurrence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive supplier performance improvement and resolve quality issues
- Develop and implement quality improvement projects to enhance supplier capabilities and processes
- Develop and monitor supplier SPC (Statistic Process Control) plan and manage associated OCAP (Out Of Control Action Plan )
- Monitor supplier quality metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Provide technical support and guidance to suppliers to help them meet Honeywell's quality requirements
COMPENSATION:
- The Salary range for this position is $60K - $78K. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
This role will remain open for application until an offer is accepted.

YOU MUST HAVE
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics, chemical
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in supplier quality engineering or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of quality engineering practices and methodologies.
- Willingness to travel as required up to 25% domestically with occasional international travel
WE VALUE
- Experience in leading supplier development initiatives and driving supplier performance improvement
- Six Sigma certification or knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies
- Knowledge of industry quality standards and requirements
- Experience in conducting supplier audits and performing root cause analysis
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to influence and negotiate with suppliers
