JOB DESCRIPTION

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Completes shipments by processing and loading orders.
• Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in delivery area.
• Enforces Inventory Control by performing Cycle Counts as needed.
• Provides quality service by following organization standards.
• Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations clean and organized.
• Promotes clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Completes reports by entering required information.
• Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean & organized work area; utilize safe work habits.
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 2 -3 year(s) related experience and/or technical training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• General knowledge of warehouse terminology.
• Forklift Certification within 90 days of job entry date.
• Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment is preferred.
• Computer proficiency required - data entry skills.
• Must possess basic math skills to include but not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, geometry, and algebra for the purpose of calculating material fabrication.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to pass a drug screen & background check.
• Must be willing & able to work any overtime as required.
• Inventory control & equipment maintenance.
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to apply critical thinking to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Able to work well in a team environment as well as self-directed when working independently.
• Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and procedures.
• Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties.
• Ability to multitask in fast paced environment.
• Factory environment with a large range in temperature changes
• Standing, walking, bending/stooping, push/pull, and repetitive movement up to 12 hours daily
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
