PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Completes shipments by processing and loading orders.
- Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in delivery area.
- Enforces Inventory Control by performing Cycle Counts as needed.
- Provides quality service by following organization standards.
- Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations clean and organized.
- Promotes clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Completes reports by entering required information.
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean & organized work area; utilize safe work habits.
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 2 -3 year(s) related experience and/or technical training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- General knowledge of warehouse terminology.
- Forklift Certification within 90 days of job entry date.
- Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment is preferred.
- Computer proficiency required - data entry skills.
- Must possess basic math skills to include but not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, geometry, and algebra for the purpose of calculating material fabrication.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to pass a drug screen & background check.
- Must be willing & able to work any overtime as required.
- Inventory control & equipment maintenance.
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to apply critical thinking to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Able to work well in a team environment as well as self-directed when working independently.
- Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties.
- Ability to multitask in fast paced environment.
- Factory environment with a large range in temperature changes
- Standing, walking, bending/stooping, push/pull, and repetitive movement up to 12 hours daily
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
