Job Description Summary

The Supply Chain Capacity and Readiness Transformation Leader is a highly visible and critical role that will develop new capability to support GE Aerospace's growth. This leader and their team are accountable for creating, implementing, and achieving outcomes from world-class capacity and readiness processes. The role requires strategic vision, daily execution, and significant indirect leadership to achieve desired business outcomes. High levels of evaluative judgment and operational acumen are essential.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Assume the role of black dot owner for the Capacity & Readiness Hoshin Kanri (HK) workstream, part of the Tier 1 Production System HK. Develop and execute action plans to exceed TTI expectations and create capacity and readiness capability.
  • Create a strategic vision for Capacity and Readiness, inclusive of people, processes, and systems required for a world-class process. Obtain alignment with leadership and drive as part of business-level HK. Incorporate proper infrastructure to achieve this future state. Set clear expectations, coach, and hold owners accountable for their contributions and performance. Ensure responsibilities are understood and progress is regularly monitored and reported.
  • Develop and continuously improve GE Aerospace capacity assessment and modeling standards & methodology. Drive accountability to resource owners for creating capacity through robust action plans, layered process reviews, and robust cadence. Evaluate the quality of information received and reconcile conflicting data; use statistical analysis to guide, validate and support outcomes.
  • Define and implement repeatable, recurring product-oriented and part family/resource-specific readiness cadence with T&O process owners and the leadership team to ensure action plans are on track and roadblocks are removed. Determine where run at rate exercises are necessary. Simplify complex datasets and communicate complex messages.
  • Develop the connection of available capacity and growth plans into all key business processes, namely business S&OP and customer commit processes.
  • Own KPI development and management of Capacity model and action plan accuracy . Support the action plan of Available capacity to Target build plan Gap KPI.
  • Attract and retain talent for both direct and indirectly reporting roles.


Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
  • 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, or Engineering fields.
