We have an exciting opportunity for a Quarry Operative to join our growing team at Minffordd Quarry, near Porthmadog, North Wales

This role is based in a control room environment and involves supporting the safe and efficient operation of the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and provide cover for the Asphalt Batching Plant, Crushing Plant, and Weighbridge
• Carry out associated administration tasks using IT systems
• Ensure all activities are conducted in line with safety, environmental, and quality procedures
• Assist with day-to-day site operations, including:
• Maintenance and operation of the asphalt plant
• Promoting a strong safety culture by setting a positive example
• Operating systems and equipment as per company procedures

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• A commitment to world-class safety standards
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with drivers and colleagues
• Experience in a similar role and knowledge of general plant maintenance (advantageous)
• A valid driving licence
• A flexible, adaptable approach and the ability to stay calm under pressure
