The HVAC Install Manager leads the company's HVAC installation department operations, including the crews' scheduling and dispatch, preparation and completion of jobs and equipment/materials. Clear and concise communications with company customers, including keeping customers updated on the schedule and requested lead time. Oversee the training and efficiency of company installers. Adherence and enforcement of the company's policies. The overall supervision of the company's installation crew, work quality and the profitability of installation jobs.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid drivers license and insurable through company insurance carrier
• 5+ years of HVAC installation experience in a lead role
• 2+ years of field supervisory experience
• High level of pride in workmanship
• Licensure by the applicable state board for Residential HVAC, or the ability to obtain a license within 12 months of hire
• Understanding of HVAC Systems and able to explain procedures to customers and installers

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• Serve as the division leader for HVAC Install, responsible for management of lead install technicians and apprentices
• Review new jobs with installers, check paperwork and timecards from previous days' jobs, and find any punch lists or uncompleted items
• Ensure timesheets are accurate and submitted weekly within company dealines
• Check installers tools and vehicles weekly
• Walk shop and loading area, answer questions and ensure installers are on the customers site by the scheduled time
• Schedule and design ductwork jobs with layouts
• Facilitate special orders, materials, etc.
• Meet 1-1 monthly with each installer to check-in on performance and ongoing development. Meet with apprentices quarterly
• Visit jobs in progress daily for quality and on-time status
• Be available for installers to contact you with questions, and know the crews whereabouts throughout the day
• Return customers calls and handle escalations for jobs or install team members
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel to make sure jobs for the next day have been staged in the loading area
