As an R&D Engineer/Scientist II, you will be accountable for conducting research and development activities in line with the organization's goals and objectives. You will utilize your technical expertise to design and conduct experiments, simulations, and analyses to drive the development of new technologies and products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct research and development activities in line with the organization's goals and objectives
- Design and conduct experiments, simulations, and analyses to drive the development of new technologies and products
- Guide the ideation, conceptualization, and prototyping of innovative solutions that align with Honeywell's strategic goals
- Work with internal and external partners to leverage collective expertise and resources
- Ensure that R&D projects adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and Honeywell's quality and safety protocols
- Contribute to the development of strategies for successfully bringing R&D innovations to market
YOU MUST HAVE
- 6+ years of experience performing research and development projects within a technology or manufacturing environment
- Strong background in areas such as materials science, electronics, sensors, controls, or related fields
- Proven track record of technical guidance and project management
WE VALUE
- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Physics, or another related field
- Solid insight into software development best practices, design patterns, and architecture ethics
- Excellent thoughtful and problem-solving skills
