We are currently seeking a Senior Account Manager to be part of our Industrial Automation team to be based in our Abbotsford's office. This role is to continuously identify new sales opportunities and focus on providing consultative support by building value propositions for the customer, manage and build customer contacts and be the local point for relationship strategies, sales plans, proposal strategies, and contract negotiations, for pursuits in play.
Key Responsibilities:
• Primary customer interface responsible for business development and relationship management
• Understand customer's business, drivers and organization and Honeywell's value add
• Develop a business plan and grow the allocated business account
• Business partner to customer, establish defensible barrier to competitors to maximize business potential
• Acts as the primary interface for all products, solutions, and services with customers
• Champions the customer's needs and requirements within the organization
• Develop and sustain long term customer relationships
• Manage the day to day and be strategic in sales operations
• Drives Sales campaigns and strategic initiatives
• Leverage and marshals' cross functional resources and ensure coordination and support to pursue orders
Key Experience & Capabilities:
• Any qualification in Business, Marketing and other business related field
• Minimum 5 years' experience in solutions sales, Petrochemical is ideal
• Knows Petrochemical industry
• Familiarity with industry regulatory requirements, future mandates and market trends
• Financial and business acumen
• Strategic thinker with solid Account Management Planning
• In-depth knowledge of Honeywell and competitor platforms, products and technologies is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to develop and foster strong customer relationships
• Ability to communicate effectively across language and cultural barriers
