The Role
As Head of Sales USA, you will be the driving force behind establishing and growing the company's presence in the American market. You will have a high level of decision-making freedom and personal responsibility in building the market, with the opportunity for exceptional compensation in case of outstanding performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Raise awareness of the company's patented PFAS water treatment technology in the US market
- Build and expand a network of sales partners and generate new customers
- Set up local structures (e.g., company bank account, office if necessary, tax registration) with support from headquarters
- Regularly report to European headquarters on relevant steps and specific developments
- Drive new order intake, revenues, and customer acquisition
- Travel throughout the US to meet with potential clients and partners
- Develop a strategic plan to penetrate the US market
- Begin establishing key relationships with potential clients in water treatment, including industrial, municipal, and remediation sectors
- Set up initial operational structures needed for US market entry
- Create sales materials and approaches tailored to the US market
Requirements
Required:
- Proven sales experience in water treatment, water chemicals, or related industries
- Established network of contacts in the water treatment sector
- Strong sales acumen and a winning personality
- Hands-on mentality with a focus on driving sales growth
- Willingness to travel throughout the US
- Excellent English communication skills
- Experience with PFAS treatment specifically
- Background in water technology or chemistry
- Degree in Engineering or Chemistry
- Knowledge of industrial water treatment processes
- Understanding of governmental and regulatory requirements in environmental remediation
Benefits
- Base salary: $130,000-$150,000 (higher for exceptional candidates)
- Performance bonus: $50,000+ (uncapped for exceptional performance)
