You will work under limited supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented engineers. You will contribute to the development of Honeywell's next generation of Weather Radar products by designing, testing and/or validating products/processes from prototype to market, with a heavy focus on quality, roll-throughput yield, aftermarket, and factory support. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise to ensure the success of complex engineering projects and programs while acting as a mentor to more junior engineers. You will interact with internal and external customers in order to facilitate the completion of products to customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with OEMs, authoring, submitting, and tracking notifications of change.
- Assist in product and process certification for customer acceptance
- Guide engineers, technicians and associates to ensure project and product compliance
- Present to leadership and external customers
- Support obsolescence team in identifying and qualifying alternate parts.
- Draft and release drawing changes in Team Center.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose performance issues, leading an RCCA / triage team.
- Consult with vendors and suppliers to ensure product and project compliance
- Communicate any non-compliance incidents and results of internal project audits to stakeholders
- Establish and follow methodologies for new or existing concepts
- Identify opportunities and propose technical improvements by applying advanced electrical
- Plan and execute project subtasks (designing, testing, etc)
- Suggest enhancements to advance projects
- Apply knowledge of weather radar to advancing Honeywell's world-class radar technologies and products.
- Work with a team that develops and deploys advanced radar technologies to provide solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
- Work across disciplines within the Honeywell Aerospace business to drive growth and reach critical business milestones.
- Represent Radar engineering and be recognized as a technical expert in cross-functional teams such as In-Service Resolution Boards (IRB), Product Action Committees (PAC), and Global Sourcing

YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics (Electrical Engineering preferred)
- 10 years of experience in Aerospace or related industry.

- Deep understanding of a variety of hardware engineering standards and specifications
- Capability to complete demanding assignments by applying advanced hardware engineering methods and tools
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams to deliver optimal solutions
- Strong understanding of DO254 and DO160G.
- Strong understanding of FAA and TSO certification processes.
- Strong understanding of export requirements and classifications
- Ability to consistently make timely decisions and balancing
- Clearly and concisely convey subtle or complex messages to a variety of audiences
- Capability to follow guidelines and ensure efficiency on given project tasks
