JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary:

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for administering all sales related processes associated with telephone, fax, e-mail and internal traffic. They will have to closely liaise with customers regarding supply of spare parts. They may on occasion assist with the warehouse duties.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify parts and part numbers that customers are requesting.
  • Process customer inquiries, submit quotations on a timely fashion and process sales orders.
  • Generating sales order from telephone calls, Fax and E-mail requests.
  • Monitoring the flow of documentation and products to ensure products are received by the warehouse personnel in a timely manner.
  • Ensure orders are professionally taken care by working closely with the warehouse, buyer, manufacturer, customer, and customer's freight forwarder.
  • Following up on the order status and updating customers.
  • Works closely with the warehouse in preparation of Shipping Documents particularly customs export documentation etc.
  • Working closely with others in the team and ensure customers get quotes properly reflecting NOV's integrity and consistency.
  • Quotation and Order files are well maintained with necessary info, per company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualification Requirements (Minimum Education and Experience):

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent Communication skills (verbal and written)


Technical Requirements (software or program knowledge needed):

  • Microsoft Office & Outlook
  • ERP system
