Position Overview
The Power Systems Designer independently performs a variety of assignments requiring skills in engineering design for projects of small to moderate size and complexity while working under the general guidance and supervision of leadership and senior staff. The Power Systems Designer will manage panel directories, edit existing models based on site visits using SKM design, and perform other light project work in Revit. No prior experience is required for this position, making it suitable for entry-level candidates.

Responsibilities (subject to change, modification as needed) are as follows, but not limited to:
- Undertakes a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard engineering techniques for small projects or selected segments of a larger project.
- Relies on experience and judgment for design, development, implementation, and analysis of engineering designs and systems.
- Produces high quality, accurate, and consistent drawings.
- Collects and prepares data/information and performs engineering calculations. Develops technical specifications and data sheets.
- Performs construction administration, drawing review, and response to RFIs.
- Manage panel directories and assist with design work for projects.
- Perform design tasks, including editing existing models after site visits using SKM and Revit.
- Assists in field work. Available to travel, as needed, dependent upon specific project assignments. 15% of time reserved for travel.

Requirements
Education and Experience
- 0-5 years' experience in the field of Electrical Engineering, or 5+ years of electrical construction experience.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Revit (or 3D modeling), scheduling software, specification software, and standard business software (MSOffice, Adobe suite, Google Docs).
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a specific field of engineering.
- Continuing education relevant for position.
