Job Title: HVAC Apprentice Technician

Job Type: Full-Time

Are you eager to start a career in HVAC and building automation? We are looking for a HVAC Apprentice Technician to join our team. In this entry-level role, you'll learn to install, maintain, and troubleshoot HVAC controls and building automation systems (BAS) in commercial and industrial facilities. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working alongside industry professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation and setup of HVAC control components (sensors, actuators, thermostats, etc.).
• Learn how to troubleshoot and program basic HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Support routine maintenance and repairs under the guidance of senior technicians.
• Help identify and resolve system issues to reduce downtime.
• Read and interpret technical schematics and wiring diagrams for system installations.
• Work closely with experienced technicians and engineers to develop skills in HVAC and automation technology.
• Maintain documentation of work performed, including service reports and system updates.
• Follow all safety protocols and industry standards during fieldwork.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or coursework in HVAC, electronics, or related fields is a plus.
• Some experience in HVAC, electrical work, or mechanical systems.
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems and electrical components.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills in HVAC controls and automation.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to travel to local job sites and work in various environments.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):

• Familiarity with HVAC control brands such as Johnson Controls, Honeywell, or Metasys.
• Basic knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, or other HVAC communication protocols.
• Industry certifications such as EPA 608 or NATE
