Summary

The NAB Show seeks a strategic, data-focused, and results-driven Director, Digital Marketing & Demand Generation to lead digital campaigns and drive exhibitor and attendee registrations. This role is responsible for building and managing paid and organic lead generation initiatives across digital channels, with a focus on growth opportunities for industry exhibitors. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in digital marketing, campaign analytics, and B2B demand generation with exceptional communication and project management skills.

Essential Functions

Develop, execute, and optimize paid and organic lead generation campaigns across digital platforms (including search, social, display, and email) to drive exhibitor and attendee registrations, with a special focus on emerging industry segments.

Monitor, evaluate and refine campaign performance using analytics tools to maximize marketing effectiveness and ROI, continuously enhancing the marketing mix.

Author, schedule and coordinate exhibitor and sponsor promotional and operational communications, ensuring consistency with the editorial calendar and integration across all exhibitor touchpoints.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align campaign messaging, timing and targeting with overall event objectives.

Conduct audience segmentation and targeting to ensure campaigns reach high-value prospects and decision-makers.

Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and campaign results, providing actionable insights and recommendations for ongoing improvement.

Stay current on digital marketing trends, tools and best practices to ensure NAB Show remains at the forefront of exhibitor and attendee engagement.

Demonstrate exceptional communication and collaboration skills by working effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders and external partners to ensure alignment, share insights and drive successful campaign outcomes.

Manage multiple campaigns simultaneously with strong organizational skills, oversee vendor relationships to ensure timely and quality deliverable, and maintain meticulous attention to detail to guarantee accuracy and consistency across all marketing initiatives.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or a related field. is preferred.

5+ years of experience in digital marketing, demand generation or related roles.

Proven success managing multi-channel digital campaigns (paid and organic) with measurable results in lead generation and pipeline growth.

Solid collaboration, communication and presentation skills

Strong analytical skills with experience using web analytics, CRM and marketing automation platforms.

Excellent writing, editing and project management skills.

Preferred Education and Experience

MBA degree.

Experience working in B2B events or media/technology sectors.

Work Location and Schedule

This position is eligible for NAB's Hybrid Work Schedule of three days (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) in the D.C. office each week. This person must have the ability to travel domestically up to 5% of the time.
