Accountable for one or more projects on tactical/strategic level

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assess existing operations to identify opportunities for improving efficiency, reliability, and cost. Use analytical tools such as Lean and Six Sigma, as well as knowledge of utilities and wastewater equipment performance and data analysis methods. Includes review of technical asset effectiveness, as well as operating and maintenance procedures/practices/ strategies.
• Implement recommended measures as approved by the plants. Can include serving as project manager or technical resource for capital projects, as well as training, coaching, and mentoring of local engineering and operating staff.
• Support and management of the DEnMS (Digital Energy management system) rollout and plant support Support of ISO50001 & Sustainability measures.
• Monitor/track operation and efficiency performance for sites as agreed with site management.
• Track implementation status of measures and verify savings realized, ensuring that annual savings targets are reached.
• Maintain a network of contacts at sites to be available as a resource for troubleshooting, sharing of best practices, recommending new technologies.
• Maintain strong relationship and seamless communication with EU Germany, Mobile Operations, and with PT&E Mobile in order to share best practices and to be able to utilize those resources as needed.
• Participate with SEEK in site energy assessments; assist plants in evaluating and implementing SEEK recommendations.
• Stay abreast of latest developments in utilities/wastewater technology, and with regulatory and other requirements that could impact sites.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Practical experience to acquire in-depth knowledge of design, operation, maintenance, and management of utilities and wastewater system.
• Experience in capital project implementation, including project management.
• Experience with energy management systems, PIMS, and APC.
• Familiarity with LEAN, Six Sigma, or other consulting approaches and data analytical methods Initial knowledge in the area of sustainability and digitalization.
• WIllingness to travel on national and international business trips.
