Overview:
We are representing a leading organization in the energy sector to recruit an experienced Project Cost Control Manager. This long-term contract position offers an opportunity to work within a high-profile project environment, focusing on managing and controlling project costs, ensuring financial governance, and contributing to successful project delivery. The role offers the chance to work on large-scale projects within a dynamic, multinational setting.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the cost control activities for EPC and Offshore projects, ensuring project costs are kept within budget.

Develop and maintain project cost forecasts, performing cost analysis and variance analysis.

Establish, implement, and maintain project cost management processes, including reporting, tracking, and forecasting.

Collaborate with project teams to review budget allocations, ensure timely reporting of costs, and highlight any potential cost overruns.

Liaise with Project Managers, Finance teams, and Contracts Managers to provide accurate project cost information and support project decision-making.

Conduct regular cost reviews with the project team and advise on corrective actions to prevent potential cost overruns.

Track and analyze project cost performance through cost reports and ensure compliance with financial standards and regulations.

Maintain project cost control documentation, ensuring transparency and clear reporting of financial data.
Requirements:
Experience and Skills:

Strong background in cost control, particularly within large-scale EPC projects.

Proven experience in the oil and gas industry with a focus on cost management and project financial control.

Proficiency in project management tools such as Primavera and SAP.

Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and performing cost variance analysis.

High-level communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Strong organizational skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
Education and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.

Professional certifications such as CCP (Certified Cost Professional), CIMA, or similar are advantageous.
