Working at our Beavercreek Site:

GE Aerospace operations have been part of the Beavercreek community for over 70 years! Our Beavercreek facility manufactures gas turbine tubes, ducts, and manifolds, and also has complex machining, fabrication and investment casting capabilities. Product engineering, new product development and testing is performed on site. This facility also does repair and overhaul of tubes, ducts, and manifolds. We have been awarded OSHAS's highest safety rating.

Role Overview:
  • Planning, scheduling, and managing various maintenance projects, including repairs and improvements.
  • Developing and implementing smaller project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Monitoring project progress, identifying potential issues, and taking corrective action.
  • Ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Manage administrative tasks relating to badging, and vendor management
  • Communicate effectively with clients and contractors while coordinating with operations, engineering, and safety teams to ensure minimal disruption to core business activities
  • Provide regular updates on project progress.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation including reports, logs, and cost tracking
  • Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance staff

The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will primarily perform project management and/or maintenance operation in building systems and maintenance practices.

Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Minimum of 2 years technical expertise in building systems and maintenance practices.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in project management and/or maintenance operation


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Possess a strong understanding of various building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
  • Able to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Ability to evaluate repair cost estimates and determining the best course of action.
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality history
  • Able to use standard shop measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, and comparators)
  • Makes decisions based on experience and available data
  • Accepts and gives constructive criticism
  • Takes initiative to meet target schedules and actively and continuously improving processes and procedures
  • Demonstrated experience completing tasks and maintaining records in a well-organized manner
  • Effectively communicates and demonstrated ability to with cross-functional teams, including co-workers, leadership.
  • As needed, available to work extended or flexible schedule on short notice
  • Able to work under general direction with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work on-site and conduct regular walk-throughs in mechanical, outdoor, and industrial areas


Additional Information:
  • Wages 26.43 + per hour based on experience
