KBR's Aviation & Ground Systems Directorate provides Systems Engineering & Integration support to the Army's Aviation and Ground soldiers with project based and full-time personnel support services. KBR sets the standard with a wide range of services including Government Engineering, Logistics, Business, and International focuses, while ensuring customer satisfaction and providing excellence in contract deliverables.

Job Summary

We are seeking an innovative and strategic Senior Program Manager with extensive experience in aerospace and military program management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading large-scale projects, managing budgets, and collaborating with international and government teams. This role requires a strong background in aviation, contracts management, and organizational efficiency.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse portfolio for Army Aviation clients with multiple contracts and disbursed personnel.
• Lead and mentor diverse teams, ensuring optimal performance and execution efficiency.
• Manage and synchronize technologies across various platforms and capabilities, collaborating with U.S. and international teams.
• Execute critical aviation efforts, such as Airframe integration, Ground Support Equipment modernization, and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle acquisition.
• Evaluate new technologies, determining their viability for field deployment and develop approaches for implementation.
• Negotiating and executing multi-million-dollar contracts, while ensuring quality, cost, schedule, and security compliance while minimizing program risks.
• Coordinate with Five Eyes and AUKUS partner nations and other NATO countries to advance technology research and enhance capabilities.
• Provide strategic and financial oversight, ensuring program viability with higher levels of the organization.
• Support planning and execution of organizational restructuring to improve functionality and efficiency.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field, Master's Degree Preferred
• 20 years of experience related to the U.S. Army Acquisition and Development
• Professional knowledge of PEO Aviation's Portfolio
• Program Management Advanced Certification
• Secret Clearance with access to sensitive compartmentalized information
• Experience with integration for military and civil aviation integrations
• Experience with airworthiness requirements for both military and civil aviation authorities
• Must be located in Huntsville, Alabama
• Some travel may be required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Earned Value Management concepts
• Knowledge of DoD/US Army FMS/LOA policy guidance relating to all aspects of FMS case management or strong FMS financial background
