Asa Sr Procurement Buyer here at Honeywell, you will beresponsible for overseeing and directing the organization's procurement andpurchasing activities at a strategic level. You will play a pivotal part inensuring efficient procurement processes, cost-effectiveness, and strategicalignment within the procurement function. You will manage procurement projectsand collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve procurement objectives.
Youwill report directly to our Senior Procurement Manager out of our Ohio location on a hybrid schedule.
Yourstrategic acumen in procurement and purchasing is instrumental in steering theorganization toward efficient and cost-effective operations. You will overseecomplex procurement projects and establish robust supplier relationships acrossAT that will directly impact our financial well-being and quality standards.

KEYRESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with Integrated Program Teams (IPT), Sourcing Program Managers (SPM), and other stakeholders as appropriate to ensure the needs of the program are met.
• Monitor and control purchasing costs, seeking cost-saving opportunities, negotiating favorable terms, and optimizing the allocation of resources.
• Foster and maintain relationships with suppliers, addressing concerns, resolving issues, and collaborating on improvements to ensure a reliable and responsive supply chain.
• Ensure that all purchasing activities adhere to relevant regulations, compliance standards, and internal policies, maintaining accurate and organized records.
• Contribute to the establishment and enforcement of quality control standards in purchasing processes, conducting inspections and performance assessments.
• Participate in implementing sourcing strategies, identifying opportunities for supplier diversity, sustainability, and innovation.
• Leverage technology solutions, such as procurement software and analytics, to enhance purchasing processes, monitoring, and reporting.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management related fields
