PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up and operate CNC Vertical, Horizontal, and Boring Mills, as well as CNC lathes.
- Validate machine programs and instructions before machining.
- Perform first-article setups and prove-outs, then run production while ensuring quality standards are met.
- Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T specifications.
- Complete work order routings and maintain documentation.
- Adhere to all NOV safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively between shifts.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Collaborate in a fast-paced team environment.
- Perform additional assigned tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience.
- Proficiency with Fanuc and Haas controls.
- Competent in basic math and computer use.
- Strong grasp of GD&T and inspection methods.
- Detail-oriented with a solid understanding of tooling and fixturing.
- Proficient with precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, bore gages).
- Willingness to work 2nd shift, including overtime and weekends, with shift differential pay.
