JOB SUMMARY
As a Receiving Specialist, you'll support the supply chain by managing the efficient receipt, storage, and movement of goods. Reporting to the Inventory Manager, you'll help improve warehouse processes, ensure inventory accuracy, and collaborate across departments to meet business and customer needs.

JOB SUMMARY
As a Receiving Specialist, you'll support the supply chain by managing the efficient receipt, storage, and movement of goods. Reporting to the Inventory Manager, you'll help improve warehouse processes, ensure inventory accuracy, and collaborate across departments to meet business and customer needs.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Offloads and processes dock receipts for all inventory locations, confirming the packing list and MTRs against the product received.
- Work with buying authorities and accounting to resolve receiving issues.
- Maintains complete and accurate Inventory records. (RMR log, CS log, etc.)
- Stocks warehouse parts accurately in an organized manner.
- Completes daily Cycle Counts as assigned.
- Detail oriented with a commitment to accuracy in documentation and procedures.
- Effective time management and organizational skills, able to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Achieve same-day turn rate on receiving dock receipts including customer supplied, customer returns, vendor returns and damage claims.
- Work with the Quality personnel to facilitate the timely inspection of dock receipts and expedite material to the next operation in a timely manner.
- Must follow and enforce all safety and environmental policies and programs; must be able to use personal safety devices as required by company policy; report any activities that could be detrimental to safety and/or the loss of productivity; report any injuries when they occur.
- Must be able to resolve problems through collaboration and sharing with their teammates.
- Must be self-motivated, maintain a productive environment by bringing everyone's ideas forward, decide on the best method so that everyone will benefit from them as a team.
- Must be able to assist in mentoring and training of all Inventory personnel.
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean & organized work area; utilize safe work habits.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- High School graduate or GED preferred.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in warehouse, inventory control, or materials handling.
- Hands-on experience with receiving, verifying, and stocking inventory in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Must be knowledgeable in Warehouse and pack out practices.
- Familiarity with cycle counting, MTRs, and packing lists, as well as warehouse security protocols.
- General knowledge of warehouse terminology.
- Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment (with certification).
- Computer skills required - Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle preferred, Nexus) for inventory tracking and purchasing workflows.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to pass a drug screen & background check.
- Must be available to work any overtime as required.
- Maintain applicable vehicle operator licenses as necessary to operate company equipment.
- Must be capable of operating company fork trucks and capable of achieving and maintaining certification for such equipment.
- Must be capable of learning to read and understand production blueprints and routers.
- Ability to stay updated on changing customer requirements and industry regulations.

- Must be able to work in factory environment which may include but are not limited to: no air high noise level, vibration, fumes, dust, and odors.
- Must be capable of working in a non-air-conditioned warehouse environment with PPE.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend/stoop, push/pull and repetitive movement up to 12 hours daily.
