Marketing is responsible for guiding prospects and customers throughout their journey with Basware. Through providing thought leading insights, practical advice, and a roadmap for automation, in partnership with our Sales function, we enable organizations to drive the transformation of their AP and Finance functions. Leveraging industry leading marketing platforms, including Hubspot, and the latest in AI technologies, we activate multi-channel marketing programs to help prospects get informed, build their business case, select the right-fit solutions, and make it all just happen for our customers.

As a Demand Generation Manager, you will play a critical role in executing and optimizing multi-channel marketing programs to drive awareness, engagement, and qualified pipeline growth for North America. You'll leverage digital channels, ABM strategies, and events to connect with our ideal customers and accelerate their journey with Basware.

This is a strategy, as well as an execution role, and sits within the wider Global Demand Generation team. Reporting into the Marketing Director - North America, you'll collaborate with our commercial teams, ecosystem partners, and marketing colleagues to craft compelling campaigns that resonate with enterprise finance leaders.

With your data-informed acumen and mastery of tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, and PowerBI, you'll unleash the power of insights to optimize performance and ROI. But it's not just about numbers - we're looking for a passionate marketer who can breathe life into our campaign marketing plans. Your ability to think outside the box and generate unique demand generation ideas will be the catalyst for building robust pipeline.

    What You'll Do
    • The role of demand generation marketing is one of team collaboration and strong interpersonal and communication skills with a varied background of marketing roles. You can think strategically and execute tactically to get campaigns across the finish line
    • Develop and execute demand generation campaigns across digital channels, including web, LinkedIn, email, webinars, and other performance marketing platforms.
    • Work collaboratively with our product marketing team to align messaging and understand relevant product launches and moments to roll into each campaign
    • Partner with regional marketing colleagues in North America, EMEA and APAC and our cross-functional partners across Partner Marketing, Product Marketing, Corporate Communications and Marketing Operations to build the strategy, gather requirements, and ensure we deliver a consistent, unified global message to the market
    • Partner closely with the SDR team to engage and nurture high-value accounts and drive account-based marketing (ABM) programs
    • Work with our design team to support the development of new creative and iterate on it as we test and learn
    • Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple projects at once, you're a master juggler and don't let it get the best of you
    • Join all relevant meetings and represent integrated campaign strategies and KPIs to cross-functional teams
    • Culturally aware and excited about working with international teams

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of B2B Tech marketing experience, including 5 years in a demand generation or integrated marketing role
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Journalism preferred
  • Proven success managing and scaling demand gen programs at a SaaS or recurring revenue company
  • Excellent campaign-building and copywriting skills with the ability to effectively develop and present campaign briefs and results to key stakeholders
  • Proficient in Basware's CRM and Marketing tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, PowerBI) and collaboration tool, Asana
  • Must have a growth mindset with a history of driving positive results through experimentation, creative problem-solving and improving processes and strategy along the way
  • Demonstrated curiosity and ability to leverage AI tools to enhance efficiency and execution
