Mechanical building services engineer - Qualified with experience in MENA zone within industries of construction field (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting) systems in design and supervision. A developing external profile and reputation, a desire and willingness to raise the profile of oneself and the Company. Willingness to contribute to and develop our technical knowledge networks.

Substation Electrical Engineer

Role

• Design of electrical substation facilities such as busbars, grounding, lightning protection including site and equipment layout, control room, switchgear building etc.
• Prepare AC three-line diagram, elementary schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Perform AC and DC auxiliary system sizing calculations.
• Carry out optimal design in accordance with utility standards, industry standards, specifications and meet good engineering practices and constructability requirements.
• Prepare specifications for materials, equipment and construction work, and select equipment and materials.
• Prepare Bills of Materials and Cable Schedules.
• Coordinate design activities with other multi-discipline project team members.

• Assist in developing plot plans and elevation drawings for substation equipment.
• Assist in developing underground cable routing conduit and trench plan layout and sections for distribution network.
• Assist in relay setting calculations and protection coordination study.

• Provide technical support in procurement.
• Provide construction support including resolution of site queries, participate in meetings and site inspections during the construction phase of projects.
• Maintain complete project documentation with respect to engineering studies and calculations, all design packages, as-built requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in substation design.
• Knowledge of high voltage electrical systems, substation equipment as well as distribution for voltages from 25 kV to 765 kV.
• Knowledge of the standards applicable to the industry such as IEC, IEEE and Canadian Electrical Code.
• Knowledge of substation and power plant controls, their digitalization and associated cybersecurity will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of software CDEGS, CYMCAP, AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
• High level of interpersonal communication skills including a good command on English and French languages, written and oral
• Willing to relocate to Canada on deputation for a duration of one year.

Ingénieur électricien de sous-station

• Préparer les schémas triphasés en courant alternatif, les schémas élémentaires et les schémas de câblage.
• Effectuer des calculs de dimensionnement des systèmes auxiliaires CA et CC.
• Effectuer une conception optimale conformément aux normes des services publics, aux normes industrielles, aux spécifications et respecter les bonnes pratiques d'ingénierie et les exigences de constructibilité.
• Préparer les spécifications des matériaux, de l'équipement et des travaux de construction, et sélectionner l'équipement et les matériaux.
• Préparer les nomenclatures de matériaux et les plannings de câbles.
• Coordonner les activités de conception avec les autres membres de l'équipe pluridisciplinaire du projet.
• Participer à l'élaboration des plans d'implantation et des plans d'élévation des équipements de la sous-station.
• Participer à l'élaboration de plans et de sections de tranchées pour le réseau de distribution et l'acheminement des câbles souterrains et des conduits.
• Participer aux calculs de réglage des relais et à l'étude de la coordination des protections.
• Fournir un soutien technique pour les achats.
• Fournir un soutien à la construction, y compris la résolution des questions sur site, participer aux réunions et aux inspections sur site pendant la phase de construction des projets.
• Maintenir une documentation complète du projet concernant les études et calculs d'ingénierie, tous les dossiers de conception et les exigences de mise à jour.

Exigences

• Licence en génie électrique délivrée par un établissement reconnu.
• Au moins 10 ans d'expérience dans la conception de postes électriques.
• Connaissance des systèmes électriques haute tension, des équipements de poste ainsi que de la distribution pour des tensions de 25 kV à 765 kV.
• Connaissance des normes applicables à l'industrie telles que IEC, IEEE et le Code canadien de l'électricité.
• La connaissance des contrôles des postes et des centrales électriques, de leur numérisation et de la cybersécurité qui y est associée sera un avantage supplémentaire.
• La connaissance des logiciels CDEGS, CYMCAP, AutoCAD sera un avantage supplémentaire.
• Haut niveau de compétences en communication interpersonnelle, y compris une bonne maîtrise de l'anglais et du français, à l'écrit et à l'oral.
• Vous êtes disposé à vous installer au Canada dans le cadre d'un détachement pour une durée d'un an.
