Wood's Operations Australia / Asia Pacific (West) business delivers engineering & brownfield modifications, operations & maintenance, procurement, construction, asset management and optimisation, and technical services to the Oil & Gas sector - with long-term partnerships supporting the region's most prominent producers located in the Northern Territory, Western Australia, and South-East Asia.

RESPONSIBILITIES

All roles available as a contractor position on a full-time basis include:

• Electrical & Instrumentation Technicians
• Mechanical Technicians
• Riggers/Scaffolders
• Crane Operators
• General Service Operators

Expected:

• You will be currently based in Broome / Kimberley region
• You will be an Australian citizen or be eligible to hold Permanent Residency (PR) to work lawfully in Australia. Those with visa applications already in progress are also encouraged to apply
• A personal and professional commitment to safety
• An ability to communicate well at all levels
• An ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screen
  • Offshore roles ability to pass OGUK Medical

Qualifications & Tickets:

• Relevant Trade / Engineering (or equivalent qualification)
• Current Working at Heights and Confined Space
• Offshore roles advantageous if you hold:
  • MISC (Maritime Security Identification Card)
  • TBOSIET or BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS (Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System)

Desirable:

What will set you apart will be proven experience working in similar roles within the Oil & Gas industry - either in an Onshore or Offshore environment. Exposure to other industries such as Construction or Mining may also be considered.
