Job Description Summary

The Intelligence Analyst is responsible for conducting intelligence analysis and providing operational support to the Global Security Program's operations, procedures, and processes.

In this role, you will conduct core intelligence and risk analysis that meet business needs and contribute to overall strategic outcomes for GE Aerospace while developing a functional understanding in intelligence tradecraft, threat analysis, global risk assessments. While not a complete list, initial areas of focus will be protective intelligence, insider threat mitigation, travel risk assessments, and crisis management response/support.

Role Overview:
As an Intelligence Analyst within the Global Security team, you will be responsible for conducting threat analysis, global risk assessments, protective intelligence, and supporting special assignments. This role requires frequent travel, both domestically and internationally, and offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects that directly contribute to the safety and security of GE Aerospace's operations. This position is on-site and requires a U.S. DoD Security Clearance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct day-to-day tasks associated with the Intelligence Program, including threat analysis, global risk assessment, protective intelligence, and special assignments.
  • Prepare and present reports, intelligence products, and other correspondence as necessary.
  • Gather, research, analyze, and evaluate information and statistical data from varied sources to identify trends and support office operations.
  • Apply analytical techniques to identify, analyze, and resolve operational, procedural, or factual issues to support Global Security operations.
  • Critically analyze information from varied sources to identify trends, potential threats, and changes to the operating environment.
  • Present information both orally and in writing to executive management, supervisors, and employees; facilitate discussions and resolve conflicts when possible.
  • Adhere to standard analytic tradecraft and relevant policies associated with intelligence production, threat analysis, and global risk assessments.
  • Use judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems that impact the function, taking new perspectives on existing solutions.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office products and the ability to perform multiple tasks in a high-stress environment.


The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and analytical professional with a strong background in intelligence analysis. They possess excellent communication and organizational skills, thrive in high-pressure environments, and are committed to delivering actionable insights that enhance the safety and security of GE Aerospace's operations.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of intelligence analyst experience).
  • Minimum of 3 years of intelligence analyst experience.
  • At least one year of experience in the U.S. Government 0132 job series.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance.
  • Professional demeanor with excellent speaking, writing, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
  • Frequent travel required, both domestically and internationally.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Risk Assessment and Business Acumen: The ability to identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential threats and vulnerabilities, and to develop strategies to mitigate these risks. Understand the internal and external factors that impact the organization including market trends, competitive landscape and regulatory requirements.

    Information & Analytical Thinking: the ability to collect, analyze and interpret information from various sources to anticipate and counteract potential security threats, while thinking critically and analytically to solve complex security problems and make informed decisions.

    Adaptability and Resilience: The capacity to adapt to changing security landscapes and recover quickly from setbacks or incidents.

    Interpersonal Skills & Customer Service: Strong interpersonal abilities, effective networking and collaboration capabilities, and cultural competence. High emotional intelligence and self-awareness are essential for fostering a respectful approach to security operations.

    Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey security policies, procedures, and incident reports to stakeholders at all levels. Active listening & relationship building.

    Project Management: The ability to plan, execute, and oversee security projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
