AtkinsRéalis is seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Land Surveyor to join the supervision team for a Roads and Infrastructure Project. The role will involve overseeing all survey-related tasks to ensure the contractor's works are set out and executed in strict accordance with design drawings, specifications, and statutory requirements.

The candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of post-graduate experience, including at least 7 years in topographic and construction surveying on infrastructure or roadwork projects in Qatar.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and verify all surveying and setting-out activities performed by the contractor on-site.
• Review and approve survey methodology, calibration reports, and topographic survey data submitted by the contractor.
• Ensure that construction is executed in line with horizontal and vertical alignment tolerances and coordinates.
• Conduct spot-checks and validation surveys to confirm compliance with IFC drawings and control benchmarks.
• Coordinate and resolve any discrepancies between site conditions and approved survey data.
• Ensure the accuracy of land levels, profiles, and as-built data collected by the contractor.
• Maintain and monitor primary and secondary control networks in accordance with project tolerances.
• Liaise with Resident Engineers and Inspectors for timely validation of works prior to major construction milestones (e.g., road paving, utility installation).
• Prepare weekly survey reports, keep accurate records of control points, and support claims verification.
• Assist in the review of shop drawings and cross-section profiles from a survey control perspective.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years total experience, with at least 7 in surveying for roadworks/infrastructure projects.
• Professional accreditation (e.g., Licensed Surveyor or GIS Cert.) is an advantage .
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
• Skilled in Total Station, GPS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS tools.
• Familiar with document management systems (DCS), MS Office, AutoCAD (viewing), and site-related software.
