Emerson is looking for an Automation & Continuous Improvement Specialist to help develop and maintain automation solutions for Emerson Cluj Business Units. This position has a strong emphasis on developing workflow and approval solutions using Microsoft's Power Platform but also other automation solutions that are used internally. Candidates should have at least two years of experience working with the Power Platform and a willingness to learn how to integrate those technologies with other solutions such as AI/Machine Learning and Robotic Process Automation tools. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Identifying opportunities for automation within processes/ workflows and selecting appropriate technologies and tools to implement these solutions effectively.

• Leading and managing projects related to automation and continuous improvement, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

• Working closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs, gather feedback, and ensure alignment on automation and improvement efforts.

• Continuously monitoring the effectiveness of implemented solutions and making necessary adjustments to optimize outcomes

• Utilizing data analytics to measure the performance of automated processes and improvement projects, and making data-driven recommendations

• Developing strategies and initiatives that focus on ongoing process improvement to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality.

• Collaborating with IT/Other CI/BI/IA teams to implement and maintain automation software and platforms, such as robotic process automation (RPA) tools.

• Managing change related to automation and process improvement initiatives, ensuring minimal disruption and resistance across the organization.

• Be part of a Center of Excellence that offers trainings, runs periodic meetings, and communicates best practices

• Performs other duties as requested by the Manager of Continuous Improvement

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Experience in the Microsoft Power Platform stack (Primarily Power Apps and Power Automate)

• To be Proficient in Microsoft 365 products and the ecosystem

• Ability to identify opportunities for improvement in existing processes using low code

• To be comfortable working in an energetic, high growth environment with a flexible and agile approach to operation requirements

• Project management skills and familiarity with project management tools

• To communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders from local/global regions

• To be comfortable with running large meetings and presenting in front of groups of various sizes

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Experience with UX design and app UI creation is a plus

• Microsoft Professional Program certification in one or more of the Power Platform or Data Analysis tracks is a plus

• Experience with Robotic Process Automation Tools - i.e. Power Automate Desktop is a plus.

• Experience with BPM tools such as IBM Blue Works Live is a plus.

• Experience developing and implementing APIs into the Power Platform is a plus

• AI/Machine Learning experience is a plus

• Experience with Power BI/Power Query and embedding Apps and Flow within Power BI is a plus

• Experience with SQL and working with data warehouses is a plus.

• Any previous programming experience (C#, Python, JSON, PowerShell etc) is a plus.
