Job Summary: Petrochem Insulation is seeking skilled and safety-conscious Scaffold Builders to join our team. This role is responsible for erecting, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding systems in industrial settings. Ideal candidates will have experience working with various scaffold types and be comfortable working at heights in a physically demanding environment. Duties and Responsibilities: • Erect and dismantle scaffolding structures following project specifications and safety standards. • Inspect scaffolding for stability, alignment, and safety compliance. • Load and unload scaffolding materials at job sites. • Collaborate with site supervisors and other trades to ensure proper scaffold placement and usage. • Follow company and OSHA safety protocols at all times. • Secure scaffolds using appropriate bracing, tying, and base support methods. • Maintain tools and equipment in clean and working order. • Communicate any issues, hazards, or equipment malfunctions to supervisors promptly. • Assist with other general labor duties as assigned when scaffold tasks are complete. • Ensure timely completion of tasks while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Requirements and Education Experience: • Experience: 1-3 years of scaffold building or construction experience preferred. • Certifications: OSHA 10 or 30 and current scaffold certification preferred. • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. • Physical Stamina: Ability to climb, lift up to 50 lbs, and work at heights for extended periods. • Knowledge: Familiarity with tube and clamp, system, and frame scaffolds. • Safety Focus: Strong understanding of fall protection and scaffolding regulations. • Teamwork: Ability to work well with diverse teams in a fast-paced environment. • Dependability: Strong attendance record and reliability in fulfilling duties. • Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and different shifts as required.
