Wood is recruiting for a Maintenance Technician II to join its Operations team focusing on Oil & Gas (OA). This opportunity is in Kenedy, TX.
Responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance work at production and support facilities. Wood offers health benefits, 401K, vacation, and more. Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required.
The Role
The Maintenance Technician II ensures the successful ongoing operations and maintenance of production and support facilities. This includes performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, coordinating with service providers, and ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Typical responsibilities
• Ensure the successful ongoing operations and maintenance of facilities
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance at production and support sites
• Capture daily work status and review next day's schedule with relevant personnel
• Coordinate with service providers to meet scheduling needs
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in a timely manner
QUALIFICATIONS
Skills And Qualifications
Expected:
• 5-7 years of relevant maintenance experience
• Strong technical and functional knowledge of maintenance procedures
• Ability to perform varied and complex tasks with minimal supervision
• Demonstrated decision-making within broad parameters
• Familiarity with maintenance planning and scheduling tools
• Strong communication and organizational skills
Desirable:
• Experience in oil and gas production environments
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance standards
