Business Communications Manager
Your role and responsibilities
Job Purpose To plan and execute high-impact offline events that enhance ABB's leadership in motors and genera-tors, driving brand awareness and lead generation through technical seminars, trade shows, and cus-tomer engagement activities. Key Responsibilities 1. End-to-End Event Management - Lead annual offline events (seminars,exhibitions, factory open days) from concept to post-event analysis. - Coordinate cross-functional teams (product, sales) to deliver technically accurate market-driven content. 2. B2B Audience Engagement - Design interactive experiences for industrial clients (e.g., live equipment demos, roundtable discus-sions, collaborated story sharing). - Manage attendee journeys for 50-300 participants per event. 3. Operational Excellence - Oversee vendors (venue, logistics, AV) and control budgets. - Ensure compliance with ABB's HSE standards at all events. 4. Performance Tracking - Implement lead capture and collaborate with sales on conversion follow-ups. - Analyze ROI using KPIs (attendance rates, lead quality, cost per engagement). 5. Gift Management**: - Curate technical/executive gifts (e.g., customized gifts, premium branded items). - Oversee inventory, budget, and compliance 6. Collateral Development - Lead brochure production, coordinate product teams to translate complex specs into client-friendly marketing materials. - Manage end-to-end process: content drafting (English/Chinese), design, printing, distribution. - Develop event-specific kits (agendas, signage, digital handouts).

Qualifications for the role
- Requirements
- 1.Must-Have:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or above in communication, journalists, Engineering or Business.
- Experience
- 5 years in B2B offline event planning
- Language: CET-6 (or equivalent)
- 2.Preferred:
- Knowledge of motor/generator technologies
- Experience in multinational industrial companies.
- Global communication experience
