Emerson's Business Management Office seeks a motivated individual with a focus on customers to join our IT Finance organization. The ability to work within a team environment, think independently, and find opportunities to improve processes and procedures is needed for the success of this position and required to achieve the overall purposes and promises to deliver world-class services. The primary function of this position is to perform accounting processes and procedures specifically for our Infrastructure and Operations Area. These processes and procedures include budgeting and forecasting along with related variance analysis. This position will play a key role in ensuring good controls and no surprises in regard to all things financial inside their assigned services. They will also play a significant role in supporting longer-term initiatives and financial planning.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Participate in the annual budget process and monthly/quarterly analysis and roll-up of expected results.
• Work with all areas of Emerson Corporate IT to assist in analyzing both current and future product and service costs and impact on the organization.
• Help identify, develop, and implement tools, business processes, and procedures to accomplish capturing detailed transactions, both on an actual and forecasted basis.
• Support in assessing potential IT investments both from a value perspective and from a business alignment perspective.
• Prepare presentations for senior IT management.
• Participate in strategy and staff meetings.
• Deliver analyses and dashboards applying digital tools.
• Participate in and support change management and communication efforts.
• Assist in defining and delivering automation of highly manual activities
• Other duties as assigned.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance with accounting principles and equivalents required.
• 2 to 3 years accounting/financial analysis related experience required
• Experience with Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
• Power BI experience and/or the ability to learn quickly
• Strong analytical skills a must
